DAY 1
Arrival and a kitchen welcome
Private transfer from OR Tambo to a Houghton estate. Afternoon to settle. Evening: a hosted chef's dinner in a private Parktown North home, seven courses built around Highveld produce. Sleep in Houghton.
DAY 2
Markets and a chef's morning
Saturday morning at the Neighbourgoods and Rosebank markets with a chef, then a hands-on cooking session in their kitchen. Free afternoon. Dinner at a chef's table that rarely takes bookings. Sleep in Houghton.
DAY 3
Fly to the Winelands
Morning flight to Cape Town (two hours), private transfer to Franschhoek. Afternoon cellar tour and barrel tasting with a winemaker. Long dinner on the estate. Sleep in Franschhoek.
DAY 4
Harvest table
Garden walk and forage with an estate chef, then a long harvest lunch under the oaks. Free late afternoon. Optional private dinner for your group as a celebration. Sleep in Franschhoek.
DAY 5
Departure
Slow breakfast, then private transfer to Cape Town International for your onward flight.
