THE ITINERARY
Day by day.
DAY 1
Collection and a track session
Collect your car in Johannesburg after a briefing. Afternoon session at a motoring circuit with an instructor (arranged through confirmed partners). Sleep in Sandton.
DAY 2
To the escarpment
Drive about four hours east to Dullstroom, stopping for trout lunch. Afternoon fly-fishing or rest. Sleep at a country estate.
DAY 3
The Panorama Route
Drive Long Tom Pass, God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon with a local guide in the lead car. Picnic lunch at a viewpoint. Sleep near Graskop.
DAY 4
Into the bush
Short drive to a private reserve bordering Kruger. Park the car; afternoon game drive with a ranger. Sleep at the lodge.
DAY 5
Game drive and lodge day
Dawn game drive, then a slow day at the lodge. Evening drive and bush dinner. Sleep at the lodge.
DAY 6
Return to Johannesburg
Drive back (about five hours) or fly from Skukuza and have the car returned for you.
